STEAM education with iMuSciCA

iMuSciCA aims to design and implement a suite of software tools and services on top of new enabling technologies integrated on a workbench that will deliver interactive music activities for STEAM teaching/learning. iMuSciCA addresses secondary school students (15 – 17 years old) with the aim to support mastery of core academic content on STEM subjects (Physics, Geometry, Mathematics, and Technology/Engineering), alongside with the development of creativity and deeper learning skills through their engagement in music activities. In “STEAM education with iMuSciCA” workshop, participants will have the opportunity to know STEAM’s pedagogical approach with iMuSciCA which connects different disciplines with each other on an inquiry and collaborative manner. It brings new pedagogical methodologies in the classroom, with the use of state of the art educational technology tools. This way active, discovery-based, and more engaging learning can be facilitated, with opportunities for collaboration, co-creation and collective knowledge building. Teachers will learn more about the use of iMuSciCA in their programs and will be able to create exciting activities. The workshop is co-organized by the “Athena” Research Center and the Ellinogermaniki Agogi and is addressed to teachers (Physics, Mathematics, Informatics and Music). * Necessary to use your personal laptop.
