An exploration into the secret passages of our “genetic identity” is promised to us by Manolis Dermitzakis, Professor of Genetics in the University of Geneva, School of Medicine. Studying thousands of human genomes from around the globe, Manolis Dermitzakis does not limit his research in identifying unique genetic backgrounds across different human populations, but identifies how genetic differences can make us more vulnerable to certain pathologies.
