The World Wide Web is an endless, magical world of knowledge, communication and entertainment. Our children are the future digital citizens, and they should be able to enjoy the limitless potential of internet with safety.
How can we be sure that our child is navigating safely? How can we show the way to become a responsible digital citizen? How will our child learn to protect his/her privacy and to put his/her own limits on the time spent online, in order to avoid addictive behavioral patterns? How does the new personal data regulation GDPR affect teenagers? What does the latest research report on the use of internet by children and the parents’ role?
The experts of Greek Safer Internet Center of FORTH will provide answers to the above questions and many more, they will bring you up to date with the latest trends, and provide practical advice and protection solutions.
The Greek Safer Internet Center operates under the auspices of the Foundation for Research and Technology. It is the official Greek representative of the Paneuropean Organisms INSAFE / INHOPE in Greece, which shape the European strategy for safe and qualitative internet.
It provides briefing, help and support to young and old internet users, through three distinct outlets:

In a specially designed space you can watch an amusing course and answer to the Quiz that follows, in order to measure your level of knowledge.
