If the world was 100 people (8-12 yo)

What would our world look like If it was a village of 100 people? Where they would be from? What language would they speak? What religion would they believe in? How many would be literate and how many would have access to the Internet? How many would be free and how many would have access to drinking water? In this interactive workshop, children “act” like demographers, studying the characteristics of our world’s population, they learn and discuss about global social issues, and cultivate their creativity by creating a living art exhibition. Learning, play, collaboration, and creativity are the key ingredients of this workshop, which aims to introduce children to the concept of global citizenship and the basic concepts of demography.
