A call to stop coal

What would a world without coal look like? In our city, the students of ACS Athens are proposing alternative and renewable forms of energy such as solar, wind, water, and biofuels. Students will demonstrate the different forms of renewable energy while explaining the harmful environmental effects of coal. Creative solutions include the following renewable energy for cities: Houses designed to use solar panels for energy, wind turbines to generate electricity, fruit & vegetables to produce electric currents, garbage collected by a pneumatic crane, sent to a pneumatic press via robotic garbage truck, and then recycled.
