Smart devices for safer city

University of West Attica

Taking advantage of the fact that we can carry on us more processing power featuring much faster and reliable communication capabilities than two generations ago, we are able to make use of this power to improve our lives. CONSERT research team is demonstrating the potential of mobile and wearable computing to enhance quality of life in the city, with emphasis on security, through two interactive demonstrations, including smart watches and buttons. Demos will include presentation of results of TRILLION project, which has received funding from the European Union’s HORIZON 2020 Research and Innovation program, under grant agreement N°653256.
