This motto guided the 28-year-old Govinda Upadhyay, who ventured from India with the dream to “light” the world. Could every student, in any corner of the world, study under the light of a LED lamp created with simple materials? With his very interesting talk «LED it be», Upadhyay, founder of the social start-up LEDSafari based in Lozanne-Switzerland, will launch this year’s festival and inspire us to the birth and realisation of ideas. Upadhyay is one of the most important representatives of the young generation’s sustainable entrepreneurship, as in 2016 he was in the 30 under 30 list of the Forbes magazine, named as one of the 30 leading social entrepreneurs in Europe under 30 years old.
