Ioulia Despoinoudi: “The power of Learning in the Digital Era”

13 October, 2022 News

Learning is a continuous process. Whether that translates to an actual training course we take to hone our skills on a professional level or an activity we undertake in our free time, we are always learning something new. No wonder there’s the concept of lifelong learning, which views us as perennial students. But what does that mean when we think about learning as a business strategy?

Today, learning and development should be considered business as usual. It is the key for the organizations and their people, to support rapid change, thus evolving and succeeding.

In an ever-changing tech industry, the essence of learning has been revolutionized. We are not talking about just trainings. We are talking about mindsets, the so-called “learnability”- the skill of learning and the integration with work. Building this mindset, we unleash the power of people, empowering them to grow, experiment, and accelerate innovation.

Ioulia Despoinoudi, who leads the Learning and Development activities in the Center for Digital Innovation (CDI) at Pfizer in Thessaloniki., will analyze this issue in a talk with the title “The power of skill development in Technology!”.

When is this going to happen? On Saturday, October 22 at the Athens Science Festival in Technopolis.
