How Neanderthal are we?
Why did the human species dominate the planet over any other form of life?
What can we learn from the DNA of the human’s closest relative on earth?
Life forms that have lived thousands of years ago, reveal their prehistoric secrets, they help us understand our roots and realise how we got this far.
Prof. Dr. Svante Pääbo, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany, the first scientist who managed to decode the entire genome of Neanderthals. In his presentation Dr Pääbo will talk to us about his findings, which for three decades now shed light on the understanding of human evolution.
His talk under the title “Your Internal Neanderthal: A Neanderthal Perspective on the Human Genome” will take place on Tuesday 5 April at 18:30.
