Artificial Intelligence or -more precisely- the much wider ecosystem under or near its “umbrella” is already playing a significant role in our everyday activities. Exploiting Machine Learning, Robotics and Automation, Big Data and Analytics etc. it is “upscaling” life quality in many ways. Multi-targeted AI relieves us from all Dull, Dangerous and Dirty jobs and provides instant help for much better decision-taking, on almost everything. This session’s aspiration is to present some use cases and best practices for both enterprises and citizens-final users, applications that are either already in use or just knocking on our “door”, ready to enter our lives. Let’s open it, for them…

Participants:

The enterprises taking part in this session and presenting different AI applications, are Gerobo (Gerasimos Gerolymatos), Sleed (Kleanthis Roumeliotis), Quadible (Niklas Palaghias) and Magos (Greg Agriopoulos), while on behalf of consortia working on European research projects, there will be representatives from Shapes (Vassilis Giannakopoulos), Bridges (Nikos Achilleopoulos) και Bacchus (Dimitris Papageorgiou). The session will be moderated by journalist Yannis Rizopoulos, who will also have a “fireside chat” with Guest Star, Special Secretary for Strategic Foresight at Presidency of the Government of the Hellenic Republic, Yannis Mastrogeorgiou, on “next day” socio-economic impact of AI.
