A 7.5 million trip within an hour / ages 16-18

The morphology of the skeleton (including teeth) reflects the activity of the genes and the environment. The bones bear on them the “signature” of the soft tissues that support, i.e. muscles, tendons, arteries and nerves. Also in the morphology of bones reflect different evolutionary forces as it is formed under the influence of one or more genes, living conditions, climate, diet, daily activities, the existence or absence of diseases, sex and age. The objective of this exercise is to familiarize students with the diversity of the human skeleton and especially the skull. In the skulls under study will identify main craniometry points will measure the skull dimensions, will calculate the skull indexesand will be calculated the cranial capacity.
