Homer’s Odyssey: Seeking for Ithaca (Age: 10-15)

Children through the Odyssey epic poem and Odysseus’ adventures will learn basic principles of game theory and explore leadership and governance models. They will understand basic differences between a leader and a manager. How can we use scientific tools to make more reliable decisions? Was Ulysses a good leader? In what way his decisions shaped the future of his companions? What the children would do if they were in Odysseus’ position? Collaborator: Alexander Papandreou, Electrical Mechanical Engineer, PhD candidate in Computational Intelligence Laboratory, NCSR Demokritos. Founder of Charismatheia organization.
