Hula Hoop Physics (Age: 10-14)

Practice makes you better at most things and science makes practice so much easier! Physics will help you determine how a hula hoop spins around your waist or your arm. In this workshop kids will become little scientists, conduct their own experiments and reach their conclusions. Working in groups they will study the behavior of the hula hoop in relation to its diameter and become familiar with basic concepts of physics. Physics meets fun at the Athens Science Festival!
