Observing the sky with telescopes

Stargazing, celestial navigation and mythology! You are invited to observe planet Mars, as well as some binary stellar systems. We focus on the constellation of Orion and particularly on Orion Nebula (M42), which is actually a stellar nursery

The Salamina Annex of the Astronomy & Space Society was founded eight years ago to disseminate astronomy science, its diffusion and public understanding through Observatory, Educational & Activities. In brief, we mention that this Space established (for the first time in Salamina) annual activities such as: Astronomy, and Popular Astronomy Lessons in collaboration with the Municipality of Salamina. He promotes the Annual Competition of the Astronomy & Space Society at Salamina Schools. He collaborates with non-Salamis organizations, such as the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Schools of Attica and is a permanent associate of the Athens Science Festival in Technopolis.
