Skeletons and Elephants in Libraries

Research & science are two sides of the same coin. Without one, there is no other. So, what exactly is scientific research? What does it entail? What are the hidden secrets & what are the biggest problems in modern academia? This talk is a critical presentation of the above issues, in an attempt to shed light on the gaps between: the essence of scientific research, the way it’s being conducted nowadays, and the way it’s being perceived by the general public, ultimately proposing ways in which young/future researchers can contribute to its change for the benefit of both science & society.
