Tara, the Coral Odyssey
In a paradisiac landscape of lagoons, Tara – the French boat dedicated to research and scientific exploration – sails the seas in Polynesia to understand the impact of climate change on coral. This essential element for ocean life, sheltering fishes and all kinds of animals, is indeed made up of limestone and does not withstand well the acidification and pollution of the oceans.
