Hair as an oil collector

Did you know that hair can soak up oils? This is why we wash our hair! Hair can soak up and hold oils up to 9 times its weight. Restia recycles hair clippings from hair salons and pet shops, and we use them to soak up oil spills from the sea and the environment. By performing a simple, short experiment, the visitor will be able to remove a fake oil spill from water, using Restia’s products. Our products are innovative, 100% ecological and are very useful tools for the protection and the preservation of the sea and the environment.
