Upcycling is the process we use to transform a waste material into a product of equal or superior value, making it reusable. In the past, our grandmothers without being aware of “Recycling”, they used plastic bags to create floor carpets or rags to produce the well known fabric “Kourelou”.The students of Athens Fashion Club Fashion School, designed contemporary sustainable collections with materials such as fishing nets, newspaper, magazines, fabrics, plastic bags.
