Little big minds STEM-ing away!

The Mentor Program at ACS Athens matches gifted students with teacher mentors to work on a project focused on mutual interests. A self-selected group of mentee-mentor pairs working on STEM-based projects will be displaying their progress in the program so far. The program will continue throughout the remainder of the school year. Students range from elementary school through high school, and they are paired with teachers also ranging from elementary to high school. The program emphasizes learner independence, with teachers serving as true mentors by guiding students and offering their expertise in specific topics. Projects displayed here are on themes such as engines, chemical reactions, computer engineering, and the solar system. The goal is that both teachers and students gain and learn through this process.
