Peri Anemon & Ydaton

National Observatory of Athens

The educational program about meteorology entitled “Peri Anemon & Ydaton” is developed by the Meteo unit of the National Observatory of Athens, provides a modern, interactive physics lesson, as students participate in experiments, interactive applications and watch explanatory videos for the meteorological phenomena. During the presentation, the students will understand a meteorological map, the formation of a storm and a tornado, the creation of a lightning, they will learn to distinguish the types of clouds, while through the experimental procedures they will consolidate the formation of a cloud, a thunder and also a tornado.
