The secret life of plants

Botany, the sector of Biology that studies plants, has as a purpose of understanding the biological entity (responses to stimuli, anatomy and morphology, metabolism and physiology) of the plants, as well as their place and role in the ecosystem. Plants, apart from being the gates of energy in the ecosystems via the process of photosynthesis, they have provided medicine, food and new technologies utilized towards human prosperity. Join us to unravel some of the mysteries of these magnificent organisms!
