One grand celebration | 6 days of science, technology, and innovation | interactive exhibits | workshops for children and adults | impressive experiments, and top speakers come together for the 10th anniversary of ASF

Humanity has always written a ceaseless story of change. How else can one define evolution, the creation of new data, and adaptation to it? The modern era is composed of pivotal stories of change that shape an entirely new reality. A reality so advanced, it was unimaginable even in our recent past.

These stories will be narrated at this year’s Athens Science Festival, taking place from April 16 to 21, at Technopolis City of Athens under the theme “Tales of Change”. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, ASF is throwing a grand party, sharing with us all those significant changes that mark our lives today and open new horizons. Innovation and technology are at the heart of this grand event, returning next spring to connect visitors of all ages to a unique interactive journey of knowledge and entertainment.

This landmark edition of the Athens Science Festival turns its gaze to the most critical challenges of our time. How can artificial intelligence contribute to combating climate change? Can sustainability become a goal in the modern world of industry and technology? What are the real threats posed by climate change, and how can we respond as a global society? How do technological advances affect the health sector, disease prevention, and treatment? Is there a limit to the use of technology for the benefit of humanity?

For six days, Technopolis City of Athens transforms into a spectacular stage where Science, Technology, and Innovation take the lead. Interactive exhibits, experiential activities, and workshops for both young and old, impressive experiments, and leading speakers will bring us closer to the magic of innovation, inviting us to discover all that shapes our world—a world that is constantly evolving and requires understanding to follow.

We invite you to participate in this celebration and design experiential activities for the visitors of the Athens Science Festival 2024, prioritizing actions that highlight the following themes and scientific areas:

Environment | Climate Change | Chemistry | Physics | Biology | Mathematics | Geology | Computer Science | Health | Pharmacy | Technology | Engineering | Robotics | Artificial Intelligence | Entrepreneurship | Digital Transformation | Circular Economy | Resource Management | Sustainable Development | Art
