INVITATIONS

Where do joy and sorrow reside in our brain?
Why do we ever make mistakes?
Who best interprets our feelings, art or science?

Joy, guilt, anger, love: these are some of the emotions that overwhelm our lives. However, is science enough to explain why we feel the way we do? Giovanni Frazzetto, neuroscientist and writer, will guide us through the paths of neuroscience of emotions with his talk entitled “The Unpredictable Lightness of Feelings” on Thursday 7 April at 19.00. Switching perspective from art to philosophy, and from brain scan to experiments on mice how can we better understand ourselves?
