This year at Athens Science Festival the Cultural Park comes with the popular Experiential Education Programme for children aged 6-12:

Herbs and Leafy spices

Children will learn all about herbs and leafy spices! During the programme’s workshop, children will have the opportunity to attend and participate themselves in: Sowing / Planting / Transplanting herbs, the Cultivation: Soil decontamination secrets for organic farming, Harvesting with traditional methods, Drying with natural methods, Packaging, Usage: perfume extraction, ointments preparation, herbal preparation, Physical methods of treating plants’ diseases.
