Lena Zouridi

Lena was born and raised in Athens. She has graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and then she completed her Master’s degree at the University of Manchester. She lived in the United Kingdom for 10 years where she worked in the aerospace industry focussing on engines’ manufacturing (Rolls Royce , Aero Engine Controls, Controls & Data Services, Evolito). She has great experience in production methods, research & technology, as well as design & implementation of production lines. The last few years she has focussed on Project & Portfolio Management. A year ago she moved back to Greece in order to apply the knowledge and expertise at the Greek market.

She has been a volunteer as a STEM & female empowerment ambassador, both in local and international scale (Girlguiding UK, STEMettes, Prince’s Trust, SciCo). Since 2013 she has been involved in mentorship schemes, STEM awareness and employability skills development with young students and teenagers. Her great passion is to achieve equal representation in the engineering field.
