Thomas Pappas

Thomas graduated from the Mathematics department of NKUA with specialisation in Computational Mathematics. Afterwards, though he started working as a Web Developer for a while, he returned to studying through the Masters ALMA (NKUA, NTUA) and today (while he’s finishing his thesis) he’s also cooperating with the Research Center ATHENA as a researcher. He’s been involved with volunteer initiatives all over Europe for years, where, among others, he got familiar with the world of non-formal education, which he still continues to apply today this time through the world of science communication. More generally he will never miss a chance to explain something, either technical stuff to non-technical people at his job or his science through a sarcastic joke at his stand-up.
