Don’t miss the Greek Finals of FameLab, arguably the world’s leading science communication competition. The ten FameLab finalists were distinguished from the Athens and Thessaloniki semi-finals and after a two-day master class they are ready to take us into an exciting science journey having only three minutes each to fascinate us!

Since its birth at the Times Cheltenham Science Festival in 2005 FameLab has gone global and 25 countries are participating in it from all over the world. The Greek winner of FameLab will represent Greece in FameLab International while the audience will have the chance to choose their own favourite participant through live voting.

The Judging Committee:Stathis Gonos, Director of research at “Molecular and Cellular Aging” programme of the Institute of Biology, Medicinal Chemistry and Biotechnology of the National Hellenic research Foundation, Kostas Karpouzis, B’ grade researcher at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems of the National and Technical University of Athens (ICCS – NTUA) and 2007 FameLab finalist, and Ioanna Soufleri, Molecular biologist, editor at VIMA Science.
