Tasos currently works as the Communication and Innovation Support Officer at the “Athena” Research & Innovation Center, Athens, Greece. He is a trained Computational Linguist and Language Engineer. Since 1996 he works on IC research results and technology valorisation, transfer and capitalization. He studies methodological issues and the deployment of ideas on how to raise public awareness regarding the social and economic value and uniqueness of research. He has organized several Science-in-Society events. He has recently started to explore technology transfer especially between research institutions and start-ups, and the promotion of the idea that all kids should learn to code.
