The Angelopoulos Clinton Global Initiative University presents innovative workshops from Greek students on science and technology in Athens Science Festival 2016

Since 2013, the Angelopoulos Clinton CGIU Fellowship gives the opportunity to Greek students to implement their ideas for projects about social action, solidarity and entrepreneurship. Ideas in the sectors of education, innovation, social contribution, agriculture and public health get supported, while the students are offered a participation in an international training and awareness programme in USA.

From the creation of virtual physics labs for High school students to interactive code writing sessions and from designing a worldwide innovative software to developing the first online community for blood donation in the country, the Angelopoulos Clinton GIU projects are ready to welcome you at the Athens Science Festival 2016.

In the interactive exhibition you will also find math riddles and physics experiments that look like… magic, while you will also have the chance to hear a story about the energy flow in the ecosystems.

Meanwhile, the Angelopoulos Clinton GIU fellows are preparing workshops to share their know-how with the public. On Thursday, people interested in design, architecture and engineering will have the chance to discover Geomiso . Also on Thursday, an information session on reproductive health will be offered. Children will be able to build their first website with Code it Like a Girl on Saturday afternoon at 16.00 and students will get informed on STEM careers and exciting opportunities about scholarships and internships in a dedicated workshop on Saturday evening at 18.00.
